Mental Health in Older Age: The Importance of Purpose and Social Connection

Join Beach Cities Health District’s (BCHD) Director of Community Services, Emily Brosius LCSW, for an interactive workshop highlighting mental health in older age. We will focus on the ways in which purpose and social connection can promote happiness and protect against depression and cognitive decline. There will be opportunities to practice helpful strategies and set goals for the future together.
