DESCRIPTION:Hermosa Beach Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Red Cross Shelter Training \n\n\n\nHermosa Beach Disaster Services Workers in parnership with the American Red Cross is offering a basic level Disaster Services course to prepare community volunteers to manager shelter operations. \n\n\n\nThe shelter will be set up in the community to meet the needs of people displaced as a result of a disaster. The training is a one day program. \n\n\n\nResidents from any city may attend. \n\n\n\nAt the completion of the course\, participants will qualify to volunteer at any Red Cross Shelter.
